Former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder expressed the opinion that the greatest threat to the undisputed world champion in the second middleweight Saulya Alvarez now represents undefeated David Benavidez.
“I’m a huge Benavidez fan! He is very big for his weight class, and I think he would dominate in a heavier division. I think he's too big and too powerful for Alvarez. And I believe Canelo feels the same way.
I wish the best to both fighters. It's a great time for boxing and there are a lot of great fights ahead of us,” Wilder said in an interview with KO Artist Sports.
