Wilder named the most dangerous opponent for Alvarez

Former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder expressed the opinion that the greatest threat to the undisputed world champion in the second middleweight Saulya Alvarez now represents undefeated David Benavidez.

“I’m a huge Benavidez fan! He is very big for his weight class, and I think he would dominate in a heavier division. I think he's too big and too powerful for Alvarez. And I believe Canelo feels the same way.

I wish the best to both fighters. It's a great time for boxing and there are a lot of great fights ahead of us,” Wilder said in an interview with KO Artist Sports.

Earlier it became known that Benavidez will fight against Demetrius Andrade on November 25th. The winner will become the WBC mandatory challenger for Alvarez.
