Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez

According to Compubox statistics, Alvarez was able to deliver 169 blows of 505 thrown (33%), while Golovkin - 218 punches out of 703 thrown (31%).

After the fight Alvarez said that Gennady did not surprise him at all in the battle: "He was slower than we thought, and he does not hit hard. I think that I easily won 7-8 rounds. Golovkin did not win, the duel proved to be a draw."

Gennady, in turn, said that he also does not agree with the decision of the judges, but not against the draw - the titles stayed with him, he is still the champion. "It's not my fault that the fight turned out this way. I wanted to show real Mexican boxing, in every round I went forward. I have a couple of ideas on how I will act in rematch, but it will still be a spectacular Mexican style," Golovkin said.

Both fighters supported the idea of a rematch.
