The 28 year-old Tyson Fury decided to step away from boxing due to drug, alcohol and mental issues but is ready to return at some point this year after almost 18 months out. Fury looked considerably heftier than usual in the session, captured by promoter Frank Warren's team, as Dubois also took on future world title challenger and Tyson's cousin Hughie Fury.
In an update on his desire to return to the sport, Fury recently stated: “I'm starting a fresh start, letting go of the past and concentrating on the future. (I’ve) got to keep moving forwards.
“I've moved on from the dark and scary place I've been living. If I can beat depression then I can beat anything. The hardest fight of my life!
“Talk about being a fat man. I'm 25 stones or 350lbs, but getting the weight off has never been a problem. Ask (trainer and uncle) Peter Fury (as) we (have) done it 24 times.”
It's going to be a long slog for Fury to get back to fitness as he enjoyed the fruits of his labour following a multi-million pound victory over Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015.
Linked with possible fights against Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker, Fury can easily be in the mix for a second reign as champion, provided he can drop the excess weight and keep a positive frame of mind.
Dubois, who gained invaluable experience sparring both Fury's, makes his debut on April 8 featuring on the undercard of Terry Flanagan versus Petr Petrov.
