Famous Ukrainian boxer Alexander Gvozdyk shared his impressions of working with trainer Marco Contreras.
"Marco is a democrat. A phlegmatic democrat. And I feel very comfortable with him. He takes into account my needs. Takes my ego into account. Takes into account my experience. I'm more comfortable with a coach like Marco. Who makes his changes, his adjustments. But if I insist on my vision... I mean, I'm the main man in my camp. I'm comfortable with that. I'm comfortable with it. Obviously, when I worked with Teddy (Atlas - note), he was in charge of the camp. I want to reiterate that. I'm not saying it was a bad thing. In fact, I think I gained a lot from Teddy. Both experience and boxing skills. But at some point I decided that I wanted to do camping the way I do it now. Camps where I'm the decider. Where the main person is me," - quotes Gvozdyk vRINGE.
