Undefeated David Benavides has spoken out about a possible fight with absolute world super middleweight champion Saul Alvarez.
"His actions speak volumes. He could have gotten the biggest fight of his career, but he walked away from RWS. And yet the contract for the fight was on the table. So I'm not waiting for Canelo.... The reason the Canelo fight won't happen is the fact that Canelo himself doesn't want it. It's plain and simple...", - stated Benavides.
Recall, his next fight David Benavides will hold against the Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk. The fight will be held in the heavyweight limit, and at stake will be the title of interim world champion in this weight according to the WBC.
