Eric Niksik, trainer of the UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland, commented on his ward’s fight with Dricus du Plessis on UFC 296.

“We have a difficult fight ahead of us, so we don’t need to get too emotional about such situations. It was just words, but in the end I saw that Drikus had managed to provoke Sean. He was really excited. For the next few days, Strickland was energized and motivated...” the specialist said.
