WBA lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (11-1, 9 KOs) admitted that he still does not recognize his only career defeat, which had to do with the fight against the Mexican Orlando Salido who had already finished his career.

“I did not lose to Salido. I did not lose that fight. What have I learned from it? What professional boxing is, not amateur one. If your opponent fights dirty, you also need to fight dirty. You cannot leave the decision to the judges."

Salido beat Lomachenko by unanimous decision in 2014, but couldn’t win the belt because he was overweight. After the fight, it was counted that the Mexican struck the Ukrainian with 40 something low blows.
