Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey says she is ready to help lead and grow Jake Paul’s promotion, Most Valuable Promotions.
Ronda Rousey believes she could play a major executive role in the future of Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions as the company continues to push deeper into combat sports.
Speaking with TMZ, the former UFC champion said she sees herself as uniquely qualified to help guide MVP’s expansion, especially if the promotion makes a serious move into MMA.
“I don’t think there is anyone more qualified than me. I’m definitely more qualified than someone like Hunter Campbell. I think MVP could be a great partner, and Nakisa and Jake Paul truly believe fighters should be paid fairly.
The sport is at a crossroads — kind of like when I came into women’s MMA and thought, ‘Wait a second, there’s a huge opportunity here.’ Now I see that again — with MVP, Netflix, and MMA. If this event becomes a major success, there’s a chance to take back a significant share of the MMA market and show everyone what they’ve been missing. I’d like to be their Dana White and lead them into the future. We’ll see how it all plays out, but to me, it’s the obvious choice,” Rousey said.
