Cormier supported Aspinall's decision

Daniel Cormier, a former UFC champion in two weight categories, and now a commentator and analyst, commented on Tom Aspinall's decision to refuse to continue the fight with Ciryl Gane after the Frenchman poked him in the eye.

"We always try to compare a wise decision with a noble one. Anthony Smith showed a lot of integrity by agreeing to continue the fight after Jon Jones kneed him while in the ground position. Tom Aspinall simply made a wise decision, and it ultimately upset many."
