Renan Ferreira broke the silence and commented on his defeat to Francis Ngannou.
"Hi guys - this is Renan "The Problem", a bit of a bust. Yesterday wasn't the best day at the office, but I'm very pleased with the dedication and how we've evolved as we've worked. I never set myself up for defeat and I don't lack dedication and motivation - my conscience is clear on that. I worked hard, prepared well for the fight, and was happy to be back. Unfortunately, my opponent was better. He was able to impose a game in which I was unable to defend against the kickdowns, which led to a very tough ground-and-pound that I had to go through. Nevertheless, life goes on and we will be back. I want to thank you for the love and support - we are always together. Hugs to everyone."
