Cormier: "The fight with Lesnar would have been a golden vein for me"

Former UFC champion in two weight classes Daniel Cormier spoke about the canceled fight with former titleholder in the heavyweight division of the promotion, as well as star wrestler Brock Lesnar.

"WWE got Brock. They brought him back. A fight with him would have been a golden vein for me. This fight would have been one of the least dangerous challenges in my career, to be honest. I saw what Cain Velasquez did to him. We met recently. He still has a scar under his eye, which appeared after Cain kneed him in the face in 2010," Cormier is quoted by Red Corner MMA.
