Adesanya gave Chandler some advice.

Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya believes top lightweight Michael Chandler needs an interim fight while Conor McGregor is unavailable.

"I feel like the fight between McGregor and Chandler is going to happen either way. But right now, right now, Michael needs to fight any fighter, and even if he loses, he still gets that chance. Take the fights no matter what. The fight with Conor will happen sooner or later, since their rivalry started back on TUF. But now he has to make some kind of fight," Adesanya was quoted as saying by BJ Penn.

Recall that Chandler and McGregor were supposed to fight on June 29 at UFC 303, but the Irishman withdrew due to health problems.
