Islam Makhachev, the UFC lightweight champion, said he has become more confident in recent years.
"I have more faith in my skills now. I know, people know, I can beat any opponent, finish everyone. Before, I didn't speak English too well. Now, hopefully, I speak better," Makhachev said in an interview with Sportsnet.
Recall, Makhachev will fight against Dustin Puryear on June 2 as part of the main event of UFC 302.
