Covington doesn't believe in Makhachev's move to welterweight

Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington has spoken out about the possible move of undercard titleholder Islam Makhachev to his division.

"If Islam moves up to welterweight, there's no tougher fight for him than against me. USA vs. Russia, that would be a blockbuster. But I think that Islam is cool only in words, like Khabib", - said Covington in an interview with Submission Radio.

Recall that Covington last fought in December last year, losing by unanimous decision of judges to Leon Edwards.
