Zab Judah, the former undisputed welterweight champion, has named five legendary fighters he thinks are greater than Floyd Mayweather. Judah shared his thoughts in a recent interview, despite Mayweather's reputation as one of boxing's all-time greats.

Mayweather's career speaks for itself. He spent 21 years as a pro, winning world titles in five weight classes. He beat big names like Canelo Alvarez, Oscar De La Hoya, and Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather retired undefeated after 50 fights and got inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. His last fight was a win over Conor McGregor in August 2017.

Judah, who lost to Mayweather in their 2006 bout for the IBF welterweight title, shared his top five list while speaking to VladTV. He said:

"I'm trying to see who I put first under me, I'm trying to see. Let's see, Mike Tyson, Pernell Whitaker, Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali, legends."

Judah's list includes some of boxing's most revered names. Mike Tyson was known for his knockout power, while Pernell Whitaker was a defensive wizard. Marvin Hagler dominated the middleweight division, Sugar Ray Robinson is often called the best pound-for-pound boxer ever, and Muhammad Ali's impact on and off the ring is legendary.

Judah's opinion adds to the ongoing debate about boxing's greatest fighters. Top Rank CEO Bob Arum has also claimed there are several fighters better than Mayweather. On the flip side, Mayweather himself believes he's the best of all time.

The 2006 fight between Mayweather and Judah was a big deal. It took place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas and was Mayweather's first shot at a welterweight world championship. Mayweather won by unanimous decision, marking another step in his undefeated journey through professional boxing.

Debates like this keep boxing fans talking and show how much respect there is for the sport's history. While rankings and opinions may differ, they all celebrate the incredible skills and achievements of these boxing legends.
