Ryan Garcia's Fresh Offer to Devin Haney Met With Stinging Reply: "He's Not Ready"

Garcia's had a rough time lately. He tested positive for ostarine after his April fight with Haney, which got him suspended for a year by the New York Athletic Commission. He also lost to Rolando 'Rolly' Romero and had to have surgery on his right hand. Right now, he's suspended and recovering from that surgery.

Haney didn't seem impressed by Garcia's White House idea. He shot back:

"First, get tested for doping again"

That's a clear jab at Garcia's recent positive test.

Garcia's promoter, Oscar de la Hoya, thinks his fighter needs to take it easy for a while. He said:

"He needs to get himself in order and come back with a cool head"

De la Hoya suggested Garcia should take the rest of the year off to get better both physically and mentally.

While Garcia's dealing with all this, Haney's moving forward. He's getting ready to fight Brian Norman Jr. in November. That fight could really change things for Haney's career.

There's more going on between these two boxers than just trash talk. Their April fight got changed to a 'no contest' because of Garcia's positive test. Now Haney's suing Garcia for fraud and breach of contract.

Some boxing experts think Garcia should focus on a rematch with Romero before he even thinks about Haney again. Garcia's got a lot of work to do to get his reputation back and sort out his medical and sporting situation.

It's clear there's a lot of tension between Garcia and Haney. They've got boxing rivalry, legal issues, and they're always going at each other in the media. For now, though, it looks like Garcia's White House dream will have to wait.
