Floyd Mayweather's undefeated record shouldn't stand, according to Mexican boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez. The former champion thinks Mayweather lost two fights that were given to him.

Mayweather walked away from boxing in 2017 with a perfect 50-0 record. His last fight was a big win over UFC star Conor McGregor in a crossover event that got everyone talking. During his career, Mayweather won world titles in five different weight classes and beat some of the best, including Canelo Alvarez, Oscar De La Hoya, and Manny Pacquiao.

Despite the American's dominance, Chavez doesn't think Mayweather should have kept his zero. In an interview with Fight Hype, the Mexican star said:

"I think Jose Luis Castillo beat him, I think Floyd Mayweather lost the fight. I think he also lost to Oscar De La Hoya by a point. He's lost two fights and they've given them to him."

The Castillo fight in 2002 is the one that gets boxing fans talking. Many people at ringside thought Castillo did enough to win. The De La Hoya fight in 2007 isn't as controversial. Mayweather won that one by a close split decision.

Mayweather and Castillo fought again for the WBC world lightweight title. This time, Mayweather won clearly on all the judges' scorecards.

Whether you agree with Chavez or not, there's no denying Mayweather's impact on boxing. He was one of the best defensive fighters ever and made a ton of money doing it.
