Undercard Fighters Revealed for Plant-Resendiz Bout: "This Card Is Stacked"

Plant, now 32, won the interim title last September with a knockout victory over Trevor McCumby. The win helped him bounce back from a points loss to David Benavidez in March 2023. Before that, Plant had scored a knockout win against Anthony Dirrell, which came after his first career defeat to Canelo Alvarez.

Resendiz enters the fight with a record of 15 wins, 2 losses, and 10 knockouts. He started his career strong with 12 straight wins. In his most recent bout, Resendiz knocked out Fernando Paliza in February 2024. This victory followed a loss to Elijah Garcia in 2023.

The co-main event features two-division former champion Jermall Charlo making his long-awaited return to the ring. Charlo hasn't fought since November 2023 and will face Thomas LaManna at 168 pounds. A win for Charlo could set up a future bout with Plant in the super middleweight division.

"Las Vegas is the perfect place for a fight of this magnitude," said event promoter Tom Brown. "The energy in 'Sin City' is always electric, and we've put together a great undercard that will delight the attendees."

Fight fans can look forward to an action-packed night in Las Vegas, with Plant aiming to cement his position in the super middleweight division and Resendiz looking to pull off an upset.
