Shane Mosley Reveals Surprising Pick for Mayweather vs Prime Duran: "No Question About It"

Mosley, who lost to Mayweather by unanimous decision in 2010, believes Mayweather's movement would be key to victory against the legendary Duran.

"Now that you say that, now that I'm thinking about Duran [and] the way he fights, yeah I can see [Mayweather winning.] You're right, but I can also see Duran getting inside and doing some stuff but Floyd wouldn't fight Duran like that, Floyd would have moved from Duran because Duran is coming at you."

Mayweather ended his career with a perfect 50-0 record, dominating multiple weight divisions along the way. He picked up notable wins against Oscar De La Hoya, Canelo Alvarez, and Manny Pacquiao. His technical skill and defensive prowess made him nearly impossible to hit cleanly.

Duran, known as one of the 'Four Kings' alongside Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, and Thomas Hearns, was a force to be reckoned with in his own era. He famously defeated Leonard for the WBC welterweight title in 1980, winning by unanimous decision.

Mosley acknowledges that Duran's ability to get inside could cause problems for Mayweather. However, he thinks Mayweather's movement would likely keep him out of harm's way against Duran's aggressive style.

The debate over this fantasy matchup will likely continue among boxing fans. Both fighters left an indelible mark on the sport, and comparing across eras always leads to passionate discussions.
