The great boxer and member of the 2020 International Boxing Hall of Fame Floyd Mayweather will return to the ring. The undefeated 12-time world champion in five weight categories will face popular blogger and pro boxer Logan Paul on June 6 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, in the PPV show on Showtime.
Showtime Sports President Stephen Espinoza has confirmed that Floyd Mayweather Jr will meet Logan Paul in June. However, the duel will take place a few weeks later than recent media reports suggested. The fight is scheduled for the second half of the month, not June 5th.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is open to working with WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs). The former king of the P4P rankings even says he will be happy to help the Briton prepare for the unification fight with WBC champion Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs).
According to unofficial information, the fight of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul, scheduled for February 20, will be postponed to another date. So far, the reasons for this decision are unknown and there is no official confirmation.
On February 28, Floyd Mayweather Jr. will appear in the ring at an MMA night in Tokyo. The former world champion in five weight categories will hold an exhibition fight. The name of his rival has not yet been disclosed.
