Saul Alvarez almost stepped into the ring with Paul. The fight didn't happen because Alvarez signed a massive $400 million four-fight deal with Riyadh Season, organized by His Excellency Turki Alalshikh. Alvarez's first fight under this deal resulted in a dull win over William Scull in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He's now set to face Terence Crawford on September 12 in Las Vegas.

Jermall Charlo has now thrown his hat into the ring. During an interview with TMZ Sports to promote his upcoming fight against Thomas LaManna on May 31, Charlo said he'd be up for facing Paul. However, he doesn't think it's likely to happen.

"Jake Paul wouldn't want to fight a boxer like me," Charlo said. "Jake and I are very good friends. We are colleagues."

Charlo also shared his thoughts on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., the son of the legendary "Boxing Caesar" Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. He didn't mince words when discussing Chavez Jr.'s career.

"Julio Cesar Chavez is finished," Charlo stated. "He came back for a fight with Jake Paul because he likes the name and the money."

Paul, nicknamed "The Problem Child," has made a significant impact on the boxing world. His financial stability and ability to generate interest have made him an attractive opponent for many fighters looking for a big payday.

As the boxing world continues to buzz about potential matchups with Paul, it remains to be seen who will actually step into the ring with the controversial figure next.
