Oleksandr Usyk Accepts Tyson Fury's Unusual Stipulation: "It's Fair"

Usyk and Fury first locked horns in May 2024, in a fight that unified all four major heavyweight titles. Usyk won by split decision, securing a ninth-round knockdown that proved crucial. This victory made him the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era, a feat not achieved since Lennox Lewis over two decades ago.

The rematch took place in December 2024. Usyk had to vacate his IBF belt to make this fight happen, but he still came out on top with a unanimous decision victory.

Fury announced his retirement in January, but recent comments suggest he's itching to get back in the ring. He took to social media, calling for a third fight with Usyk in the UK:

"Beat the f***er two times and the world knows the truth. Any time, any place [sucker]. UK next time. 100,000 people."

Usyk didn't hesitate to respond. In an interview with Talksport, he said:

"If Tyson Fury back with his career, maybe we organise one more fight. No problem, I'm ready. Wembley, [or Old Trafford] yes."

Before any potential trilogy fight can happen, Usyk has business to attend to. He's set to face Daniel Dubois in July, aiming to reclaim the IBF title and become undisputed champion once again.

The boxing world will keep a close eye on these developments. If Fury decides to come out of retirement and Usyk continues his winning streak, fans might see another epic clash between these heavyweight titans on British soil.
