KSI explained his condition in detail, saying he's been coughing up green and yellow mucus, dealing with sinus pain, and suffering from tension headaches. He's been sick for nearly three weeks with no signs of getting better.
"I'm screwed. I've been sick for almost three weeks and I haven't gotten any better," KSI said.
Danis didn't buy the explanation. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to mock KSI's announcement.
"I remember my first cold," Danis quipped. "Hahahahahahahahaha f***."
The fighter pointed out what he saw as an inconsistency in KSI's story.
"He played in a charity football match two weeks ago, but has been 'sick for three weeks'," Danis noted. "I feel bad for all the fighters on the card and for the fans who bought tickets. Logan Paul, support your boyfriend who pulled out with a cold and let's save the show, and everyone's time and money."
KSI fired back on Twitter, insisting the fight wasn't cancelled but postponed.
"I'm not avoiding you, jerk. It's postponed. Your punishment is just being delayed," KSI said.
This isn't the first time a fight between these two has fallen through. In January 2023, Danis pulled out just two days before they were set to clash. He cited a lack of a trainer, issues making weight, and not having a proper support team.
As it stands, there's no new date for the KSI-Danis bout. Fans will have to wait and see if the fight gets rescheduled or if this marks the end of their rivalry.
