The WBO has officially ordered its heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) to make a mandatory defense of his belt against interim titleholder Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 KOs).

The boxing teams were given 30 days to determine the terms and conditions of the fight organization. If an agreement is not reached, the place and the organizer of the fight will be chosen through a tender, in which anyone with the appropriate amount of financial resources can participate.

Yesterday it was reported that Usyk's team, who also holds the WBC and WBA championship trophies, is negotiating a fight for the title of absolute world champion with IBF champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs), who, like Parker, is promoted by the promoter organization Queensberry Promotions.
