After the incident, both boxers took to social media to keep the drama going. Lopez posted on X: "Very fast. What does it taste like?" Barboza responded with: "Now more than personal!"
The video of the slap has gotten a lot of attention online. It looks like Lopez's plan to get people talking about the fight has worked.
Even Devin Haney got in on the action, making fun of Lopez for wearing makeup. He said Lopez looked more like a WWE character than a boxer.
The 'Fatal Fury' event on May 2 in New York will settle the score between these two. With all the bad blood now, it's sure to be an intense fight.
