Lennox Lewis thinks Tyson Fury would beat Anthony Joshua if they ever fought. The former undisputed heavyweight champion shared his thoughts in a recent chat on 'Froch on Fighting'.

Lewis believes Fury's got the edge right now, based on how both fighters have been doing lately. He said:

"Listen, both of them pack a punch, I would say Fury would be leading the way on that one, he's leading the way. It's up to Anthony Joshua to prove everybody wrong right now, it was [a devastating loss to Dubois]. I got Fury."

Fury and Joshua have had a tough time recently. Fury lost twice to Oleksandr Usyk last year, once in May and again in December. Both fights went the distance. After those losses, Fury said he was retiring in early January.

Joshua's also struggled. He lost to Usyk twice in 2021 and 2022. Then, in September 2023, Daniel Dubois knocked him out in the fifth round. Joshua hasn't fought since then.

While Fury and Joshua have been losing, Usyk's been winning. He beat Dubois by knockout in August 2023, right before taking down Fury twice.

Fans have wanted to see Fury and Joshua fight for a long time. It could be a big deal for both of their careers. But right now, it's not looking likely. Fury says he's retired, and Joshua hasn't announced his next move yet.

There's talk about who Joshua might fight next. Some people think it could be Agit Kabayel or a rematch with Dubois. But nothing's set in stone yet.

Lewis shared his thoughts in an interview on 'Froch on Fighting'. He thinks Joshua's got some work to do to change people's minds after his last fight.
