Boxing Night took place in New York this morning, with the main event featuring reigning WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in an inarticulate bout against compatriot Lamont Roach.

The fight lasted all of the allotted 12 rounds, ending in a draw. In the course of the fight there was an episode when Davis missed a punch and took a knee, but the referee did not give him a knockdown.
