Tyson Fury Issues Stark Warning to Anthony Joshua About Heavyweight Rival: "Stay Away"

Fury and Joshua have been rivals in British heavyweight boxing for years. They've both held world titles over the last decade but never managed to face each other in the ring.

Joshua recently lost to Dubois in a shocking fifth-round stoppage. Dubois caught everyone by surprise with his knockout win, keeping his IBF heavyweight world title at Wembley Stadium. Meanwhile, Fury lost his last fight to Oleksandr Usyk on points, which led to his retirement from boxing.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, wants to set up a rematch with Dubois, possibly this summer. But Dubois might go for an undisputed title fight with Usyk instead.

Fury shared his thoughts on a potential Joshua-Dubois rematch in an interview with The Stomping Ground. He didn't mince his words:

"No [he can't win the rematch]. I don't think he can. I don't even think he will take a rematch."

With Fury retired, the much-talked-about Fury-Joshua fight looks unlikely to happen. If Dubois ends up fighting Usyk, Joshua might need to look at other top contenders to stay active. He could face interim title holders like Joseph Parker or Agit Kabayel while hoping for a bigger fight later in the year.

Fury's comments add another layer to the ongoing drama in heavyweight boxing. They show how quickly things can change in the sport, with new champions rising and old rivalries taking unexpected turns.
