Nigel Benn's Reaction to Eubank Jr's Egg Prank: "It's All Part Of..."

The boxers got together to promote their upcoming fight on April 26. This bout comes over two years after their first scheduled match got canceled when Benn tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs twice.

The WBC looked into the situation and couldn't find solid proof that Benn meant to take the banned substance Clomiphene. They thought Benn's claim about eating lots of eggs could explain the positive test results. Recently, the British Boxing Board of Control and UK Anti-Doping Agency lifted Benn's temporary suspension, allowing the fight with Eubank to go ahead.

At the press conference, Eubank kept pushing Benn to explain more about the substance found in his system. He brought up the egg theory and then shocked everyone by pulling out a real egg. During their first face-off, Eubank slapped the egg on Benn's head.

All hell broke loose after that. Nigel Benn, Conor's dad, grabbed Eubank by the neck. Security guards rushed in to hold Conor back.

"I'm glad Conor didn't get him," Nigel Benn said later. "Conor was going some. Then I had the opportunity and I went [and grabbed him by the throat]. Then the big bouncer came and jumped on me, and I was like, not for me."

Eddie Hearn, who's promoting the fight, worries Benn might try to attack Eubank again. Now people aren't sure if Thursday's press conference at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will happen as planned.

The April 26 fight between these "born rivals" will go ahead for now. But if another brawl breaks out and gets out of hand, both fighters could face big fines or even lose their boxing licenses.
