Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker are getting ready to fight for the IBF heavyweight title on February 22 in Saudi Arabia. Both boxers are in good form, making this a fight fans can't wait to see.
Dubois currently holds the IBF heavyweight belt. He got the title after knocking out Filip Hrgovic last June. Since then, he's been on a roll. He beat Jarrell Miller by stoppage in the 10th round, coming back strong after Miller put pressure on him early in the fight.
Dubois really made a name for himself last September when he stopped Anthony Joshua in five rounds. That win stopped Joshua from becoming a three-time world champion and showed everyone that Dubois is one of the best in the division.
Parker, who used to hold the WBO title, has been doing well lately too. He beat Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang, both in 12-round fights.
At the first press conference, former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight:
"I think the whole card is great. There are a lot of 50-50 fights here. It's a great fight for the fans. May the best man win. I mean they both got talent and it's really down to the mental and physical side so whoever has the best [on the night]."
The winner of this fight might get a chance to face Oleksandr Usyk, who holds three heavyweight belts, later this year. That fight could decide the undisputed heavyweight champion.
This fight between Dubois and Parker is shaping up to be an exciting one. Both fighters have shown they've got what it takes to win at the highest level. Now, it's just a matter of who will come out on top on February 22.
