Fury is named the highest paid boxer in the world

Sportico has published its annual list of the world's highest-paid athletes. The best boxer in this ranking was Tyson Fury, who took third place and earned 147 million dollars last year, according to Sportico's calculations.

Only soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo and basketball player Stephen Curry were ahead of the Briton. Oleksandr Usyk, who earned 122 million dollars last year, took seventh place.

The top 100 of Sportico's ranking also included:

Saul Alvarez (20th place, $73 million)

Anthony Joshua (30th place, $60 million)

Jake Paul (52nd place, $48 million)

Naoya Inoue (81st place, $42 million)

Sportico's ranking does not include MMA fighters, and the most represented players in the NBA basketball league and the American soccer league NFL.
