The bout is part of a larger boxing event. Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will headline the show in their rematch.
Matchroom CEO Eddie Hearn shared his thoughts on the fight in a recent interview. He sees it as an even match-up.
"I think it's a very tough for for Daniel Dubois. Joseph is in the form of his career. I'm his unofficial promoter. He's a good mate of mine. I really like him, he's worked so hard to get back in this position."
Hearn pointed out Parker's recent success. The New Zealander has picked up two big wins lately. He outpointed Zhilei Zhang over 12 rounds and did the same against Deontay Wilder.
"Don't forget he's coming off two huge wins, he's earned his shot and I think he's got a good style to beat Daniel Dubois. But Dubois is on a tremendous run, he's full of confidence, and I see it as a 50-50 fight."
Dubois comes into the fight as the champion. He won the IBF title after stopping Fillip Hrgovic. He followed that up with a fifth-round knockout of Anthony Joshua in September. Most recently, he knocked out Jarrell Miller in December 2023.
Before his current run, Dubois suffered a setback against Oleksandr Usyk. The Ukrainian stopped him in their fight.
Parker is a former WBO world champion. He lost that belt to Anthony Joshua on points back in 2018. Since then, he's slowly rebuilt his career.
The winner of this fight could end up challenging Oleksandr Usyk for all the belts later this year. Usyk currently holds the other major heavyweight titles.
