Oleksandr Usyk, world heavyweight champion according to the WBA, WBC, IBF versions, answered a question about his political ambitions in an interview with Andrii Bedniakov. Specifically, he stated that he is considering only the position of president of Ukraine.
"I plan to continue boxing for a couple more years. Then I want to work for the country. Mayor of Konotop? No, I won't settle for anything less than president," Usyk said.
Let us recall that Usyk's next opponent will be the famous Dutch kickboxer, former long-time Glory heavyweight champion, Rico Verhoeven. In this match, Oleksandr will defend his WBC championship belt in a voluntary defense.
