Swedish Heavyweight Gives Blunt Verdict on Joshua vs Fury: "I've Been in There with Both"

Both fighters have had their ups and downs lately. Joshua lost twice to Oleksandr Usyk but bounced back with four wins. His comeback hit a snag when Daniel Dubois knocked him out in five rounds, costing him a shot at the IBF world title. Fury, on the other hand, recently lost to Usyk over 24 rounds.

Otto Wallin, who's fought both men, shared his thoughts with Sun Sport. He faced Fury in 2019, losing on the scorecards but leaving Fury with a nasty cut. Six wins later, he met Joshua and got stopped inside five rounds.

"Joshua's a very good fighter with very good power and he's a very good counter puncher. He definitely has a shot with Fury," Wallin said. "It's hard to go against Tyson in that fight, but you never know what Tyson Fury shows up."

Wallin found his fight with Joshua tougher than the one with Fury. He still picks Fury as the favorite but gives Joshua more of a chance than before.

The Swedish heavyweight's got his own fight coming up. He'll face Derek Chisora on February 8 in Manchester.

Joshua and Fury are both out of the title picture right now, so they're looking for big fights before hanging up their gloves. Their showdown in 2025 could be a mega-fight, even if it's not quite what it could have been a few years ago.
