Turki Al Al-Sheikh commented on social media on the results of the heavyweight fights held during Saturday night's boxing event in Riyadh.
"[In the Usyk-Fury fight] I gave Usyk a four-round advantage. It doesn't mean that Tyson performed poorly. No, he gave it his all, but let's be honest: Usyk is one of the best boxers of our generation, and he proved it by fighting big names. Tyson always holds a place in my heart and is one of the reasons why boxing still holds its position," the Saudi entertainment minister wrote.
"Usyk told me that he is ready for any fight and we agreed that he will rest now and we will not make any decisions before the Dubois-Parker fight. As for Tyson, I'm waiting for him to rest and decide what to do next. I will understand if he wants to end his career, but if not, I will be happy to continue organizing fights for him," said Al Al-Sheikh.
As for the undercard fights, the Saudi representative stated the following: "I believe Itauma has great potential and I am ready to help him. We will be happy to see him become the youngest heavyweight champion in history. As for the Fischer-Allen fight, I rated it the other way around, but that's my opinion and should not be interpreted as a judgment."
