Olympics-2028 or professional boxing? Khizhnyak has decided on his future

Ukrainian Oleksandr Khishnyak, the 2024 Olympic boxing champion, said he has changed his mind about moving to professional boxing.

"I am proud of all the awards of our Ukrainian athletes. It is very important, it is very stimulating for all young athletes, who at this step get the highest honors for our country. All the victories in the professional ring, as well as in the Olympic ring among other sports are very important.

Speaking of myself, right now we are focused on preparing for the next Olympic Games. We work in a planned way, but I am sure that all victories in any ring in any direction are very important now for our country, for our military and all of us" - said Khizhnyak.
