Mike Tyson Unveils Surprising Truth About Jake Paul Bout: "Never Experienced That Before"

The fight pitted 'Iron' Mike, who's almost sixty years old, against the 27-year-old Paul. Despite the massive age gap, the bout went the full eight rounds. Paul won by a wide margin on the scorecards, with Tyson struggling to make an impact after the second round.

Many fans couldn't believe what they saw. Claims that the fight was 'rigged' or 'scripted' spread quickly. Paul's promotional company, MVP, strongly denied these allegations. Tyson's son, Amir, told Seconds Out that his father simply 'gassed out' during the fight.

Tyson himself had a different take on the fight. In an interview with 7 News Miami, he said:

"Magically. It just happened so quick. Eight rounds were over fast. I wasn't tired. I wasn't sweating. I didn't understand that."

This statement contradicts what many viewers observed during the bout.

The fight raised concerns even before it started. Many worried about how Tyson's body would respond to a knockout blow at his age. These fears, combined with his poor performance, likely contributed to his decision to retire.

Despite the controversy, Tyson seems optimistic about his future. He stated:

"As I said before, the sky is the limit. Anything I want, I'm just happy to be able to do it. I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to be able to do everything that I want to do in this and beyond."

While Tyson moves on to his next chapter, Jake Paul remains one of the most talked-about and called-out fighters in the sport. The young boxer's controversial win over a legend will surely keep him in the spotlight for some time to come.
