Will Haney make a comeback with a fight against Hitchins?

Contract negotiations continue for a fight between former two weight class world champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) and current IBF super lightweight champion Richardson Hitchins (19-0, 7 KOs).

The fight is scheduled to take place in March or April at one of the Matchroom Boxing nights organized in the United States. It will be Haney's first fight since meeting Ryan Garcia in April this year.

Hitchins recently defeated Liam Paro, taking the International Boxing Federation belt away from him. Haney currently holds the status of WBC champion "on vacation".
