Oscar De La Hoya Fires Back at Ex-Rival's Comments: "I Feel So Bad For Him"

Oscar De La Hoya has taken aim at his former opponent Shane Mosley with some harsh words. The Golden Boy has been pretty vocal lately about various boxing figures, and now he's set his sights ...

De La Hoya and Mosley have a history in the ring. They fought twice, with Mosley coming out on top both times. In 2000, Mosley won by split decision and grabbed the WBC welterweight title. Then in 2003, he beat De La Hoya again, this time by unanimous decision.

Recently, Mosley took part in a celebrity boxing match in Philadelphia. He won the contest, but it seems De La Hoya wasn't impressed. In a video clip shared by Fight Hub TV, De La Hoya didn't hold back his thoughts.

"You looked like you just bathed in Diddy's baby oil. You talk so much sh*t. I'm actually going to rise above it because I feel so bad for you. I want to buy out the arena you're fighting in. Let me know who I can contact so I can make it happen, and by the way, keep my name out of your f**king mouth."

De La Hoya's comments about Mosley are just the latest in a string of outspoken remarks he's made recently. He's been pretty vocal about other boxing figures too, including Canelo Alvarez, Anthony Joshua, and Eddie Hearn.

Speaking of Canelo, De La Hoya has been stirring the pot there as well. He recently named a fighter who he thinks will be the first to knock out Alvarez. It's worth noting that Canelo used to be De La Hoya's protégé, but now they're long-time rivals.
