Former world champion Carl Froch believes that current heavyweight leader Oleksandr Usyk would beat Wladimir Klitschko.
"Usyk would win. Klitschko is very big, strong. Joshua beat Wladimir. True, Klitschko passed his peak and before the fight with AJ did not fight for 18 months. And then Wladimir didn't try very hard. He dropped AJ, but for some reason he stopped throwing punches.
Usyk probably would have beaten Klitschko. The peak Klitschko is very big, strong and powerful, but Usyk has adapted to super featherweight, and he only recently beat Tyson Fury. You can't say Klitschko will beat Usyk based on the fact that Oleksandr Usyk has beaten AJ twice. It's the levels, isn't it? The important thing is the levels. And Usyk beat Tyson Fury, so you can't discount him. Who would have won? Usyk would beat Klitschko. It would have been a great fight, but Usyk would have won," Froch said on his podcast.
