In September 2025, Crawford stunned the world by climbing up two weight divisions to dethrone Alvarez at super middleweight. The fight took place at the 168-pound division, where Crawford earned the coveted Undisputed Super Middleweight Crown. McIntyre fondly recalls that moment saying, "Beautiful. Damn beautiful. Lester Martinez presents a fresh challenge for Alvarez. He recently grabbed the WBC interim title with a stellar performance at a Pro Box main event in California. Martinez secured victory over Immanuwel Aleem through a unanimous decision and gained attention as a formidable contender.
McIntyre envisions Martinez replicating Crawford's success. He stated passionately, “He wants to be undisputed in the 168-pound division. Watch out for him.
