George Cambosos made a loud statement ahead of his fight with Vasyl Lomachenko, the former world champion in three weight categories, that he will send the Ukrainian boxer into retirement.

"I'm incredibly confident. That confidence comes from my preparation. I've had an amazing training camp. My confidence is higher than ever. When I beat Lomachenko, he won't have any other way. He will retire," Boxing Social quoted Cambosos as saying.
The bout between Lomachenko and Kombasos will take place on the morning of May 12 in Perth, Australia. At stake in this fight will be the vacant IBF lightweight world title.
