Berinchik gave his prediction for the Lomachenko vs. Cambososos fight
April 26, 2024, 12:19 p.m.

Denis Berinchik, a challenger for the WBO lightweight title, spoke out about the upcoming fight between Vasyl Lomachenko and George Cambososos, which will take place on May 12.

"Yes, because he's not a bad fighter. I mean, he's constantly adding as a boxer. He has a steely character. He's going to box at home. I think that will add to his motivation. Plus, the fans put a little pressure on the judges," Berinchik is quoted by vRINGe.

The confrontation between Lomachenko and Kambososos will take place on May 12 in Perth, Australia. At stake in this fight will be the vacant IBF lightweight world championship belt.

As for Denis Berinchik, on May 18, he will fight Navarrete for the WBO lightweight belt.

Kambososos spoke out about Garcia's win over Haney
April 22, 2024, 2:57 a.m.

Former unified light heavyweight world champion George Cambosos commented on Ryan Garcia's win over Devin Haney.

Garcia defeated Haney by majority decision last weekend on Boxing Night in New York, USA. In doing so, Ryan did not get the WBC welterweight division belt as he failed the weigh-in before the fight.

"Only watched four rounds (review the fight). I just did a 12-round sparring session, I'm on a strict schedule.

Congratulations to Ryan. He cheated and shocked the world. Big respect to my buddy Devin, keep your head up. He'll be back, it's martial arts, styles make fights, so fuck the undefeated record," Cambososos wrote on his X page.

Kambosos made a prediction for the Haney - Garcia fight
April 20, 2024, 11:56 a.m.

Former unified lightweight world champion George Cambososos has no doubt that WBC lightweight division titleholder Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) will defeat Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs).

"I can't envision Garcia winning this fight. Devin is only getting better, I think it would be too much for Ryan. They're two different fighters right now. Devin is in great shape and Ryan is talking about who killed Tupac Shakur. He's talking about extraneous things and it shows attitude," Boxing Scene quoted Cambososos as saying.

Recall that the fight between Haney and Garcia will take place on the night of April 21 in New York, USA.

Arum: "Fighting Kambososos will be tough for Lomachenko"
April 12, 2024, 6:55 a.m.

Famed American promoter Bob Arum has spoken out about the fight for the vacant IBF lightweight title between Vasyl Lomachenko and George Cambososos, scheduled for May 12 in Perth, Australia.

"Lomachenko is still a great fighter. I think he won the fight against Devin Haney last year. But the judges decided otherwise. You have to respect their decision. Cambosos is a great boxer. He's always in great shape. It's gonna be a tough fight. We'll see who will come out victorious. I have a lot of affection for Vasili. He's a terrific guy, a great family man, a great father. We're in for a great fight.

It would be a great joy for me to see Lomachenko and Shakur Stevenson fight. It would be great to see two experienced guys fight each other," Arum said in an interview with YouTube channel Fight Hub TV.
