Teixeira on Adesanya's advice to Hill: "It's not magic."

Glover Teixeira, former UFC bantamweight champion, reacted to the news that Jamal Hill consulted with Israel Adesanya ahead of his fight with Alex Pereira.

"Israel is a great fighter and of course he can help anyone. Anyone who has competed at a high level can definitely give you valuable advice. Izzy, Jon Jones or anyone else can help you because of their experience. But it's not magic. I explain this all the time when I'm in Alex's corner. People say all the time, "Alex has accomplished all of this because of you." No, that's not true. Alex would be a champion, he would be where he is because any coach with discipline and martial arts skills would have taken him to the top. He's accomplished that. That's just the person he is," Yahoo Sports quoted Teixeira as saying.
