Froch's opinion: Joshua will retire if he loses to Wilder by knockout

Carl Froch, a former world champion, stated during a recent interview that Anthony Joshua will retire if he loses Deontay Wilder.

“If Deontay Wilder knocks Joshua out, I don’t think Anthony will want to fight again. I believe that after this he will not be able to recover. If Wilder knocks out Joshua, then that will be the end of Anthony. It seems to me that after this he will not return...” said Froch.

Let us remind you that it became known earlier that if negotiations with Wilder fall through, Joshua’s next opponent could be either Hrgovic or Ruiz.
