Strickland: “If I lose to Adesanya, everyone will forget about me”

UFC middleweight title contender Sean Strickland believes that victory in the upcoming fight with the champion Israel Adesanya will make him a superstar of mixed martial arts, and defeat, on the contrary, will deprive him of all popularity.

“Just look at me, I'm like a superstar. If I defeat Adesanya, then I will continue to be her. And if I lose, then everyone will immediately forget about me. I hope we can keep that popularity going,” Strickland said in an edition of UFC Embedded.

Recall that the fight between Adesanya and Strickland will headline the UFC 293 show, which will be held on September 9 in Sydney, Australia.
