The fight between Makhachev and Della Maddalena is officially announced

The match between UFC welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena and former lightweight champion Islam Makhachev has been officially announced. It will take place on November 16, 2025, as part of UFC 322 in New York.

Recall that Makhachev previously decided to leave his lightweight championship belt vacant and move up to the welterweight division. A title fight for the vacant lightweight belt was held between Topuria and Oliveira, which Ilya won.
