Middleweight Fedor Cherkashin (21-0, 13 KOs) is waiting for the date of the first performance this year. The undefeated Ukrainian with a Polish passport is now training in Florida, continuing the training plan started a year ago.
“I don’t know the date of my next fight yet, but I’m still active, I even spar twice a week. I realized that in the US it works a little differently. An interesting offer may come 3-4 weeks before the fight itself, and you need to be ready to accept the challenge. Maybe I'll come to the gym, get an offer and have to make a decision right away," the boxer told Polish KnockOut Promotions.
Last year, Cherkashin fought two fights in front of the American public. In August, he defeated Gilbert Venegas, and in November he defeated Nathaniel Gallimore on points.
“I am in touch with the promoters and they want to organize something important for me. We are focused on patience, calm planning, and I know that I have to be in training all the time, because when an opportunity arises, you must be as ready as possible to take advantage of it, ”added the 27-year-old athlete.
