Amanda Serrano (43-2-1, 30 KOs) and Erica Cruz (15-1, 3 KOs) will have a featherweight unification bout on Saturday at Matchroom Boxing in New York. WBO, WBA, WBC and IBF titles will be at stake in the fight. The event will be broadcast on the DAZN streaming service.
34-year-old Serrano had her last fight in September, defeating Sarah Mahfud on points. For the Puerto Rican, it was a return to the ring after losing to Kathy Taylor in April.
On the undercard Alicia Baumgardner (13-1, 7 KOs) and Elhem Mekhaled (15-1, 3 KOs) will fight for the WBA, WBO, IBF and WBC super featherweight titles. In New York, there will also be a fight between Sky Nicholson (5-0, 0 KOs) and Tanya Alvarez (7-0, 1 KOs) for the WBC featherweight silver belt and Ramla Ali (7-0, 2 KOs) against Avril Mathey (8-0-1, 3 KOs) for the IBF Intercontinental Bantamweight Championship.
