“The last two years at light heavyweight have been a torment for me,” says Sergey Kovalev (34-4-1, 29 KOs) a few hours before the fight with Tervel Pulev (16-0, 13 KOs).

The three-time light heavyweight champion of the world will make his debut in the cruiser category. He announced that he would have a large margin to the upper limit of the weight limit, while yesterday during the weigh-in ceremony he showed 89.1 kilograms on the scales. Recall that the limit of the first heavy weight is 90.7 kg.

“I have a “clean” head again, I don’t tense up and I feel much better. At light heavyweight, I was so tired that I slept four hours a day. Now I have the energy and motivation to show my son that I never give up. I also didn't want to end my career in defeat. I have plans to leave boxing in the status of world champion, ”says Crusher.
